The Delphine is the ultimate in taking timeless design and creating it as a modern heritage piece.  Using the most beautiful broderie anglaise fabric, this dress can be worn dressed up or dressed down it really depends on you and how you're feeling.  The ultra feminine puff sleeve design is taken from my memories of the wedding dress I wore with the leg of mutton or gigot sleeve, without tapering it down to the wrist.  A subtle addition is the adjustable waistband meaning you can achieve the fit you want which we all know can vary from day to day.  Another huge bonus with the drawstring waist is that expectant mothers can wear it before, during and after pregnancy adjusting is as needed.  With the addition of the button front you can still wear a beautiful dress while breastfeeding.

Throughout the Lacuna design is the oversized pocket, used in both ladies and childrenswear to hide the size and care labels.  This means itchy labels at the neck and waist are avoided!  Realising a dream to include embroidery on my pieces, led me to using a wonderfully talented local embroiderer.  She took my design and turned it into a beautiful addition on the pocket.

The fullness of the dress means you may wish to size down.

These dresses are made to order and take approximately 4 weeks from when order is placed.  This timeline is approximate and may vary due to demand.  We are a small business so minimising wastage is a very important consideration hence the reason we will not be holding stock.
